Sheron E. Siess,, age 76, a life long residence of Rouzerville was called home into the arms of her Loving Lord on late Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Quincy Home.

 Born in Rouzerville, Pennsylvania on March 21, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Leona T. (Tracey) and John C. Murdorf, Sr.

She was a graduate of Waynesboro Area Sr. High School class of 1958

She was the wife of Joseph Benedict Siess.

She Office Manager at Alkahn Labels Williamsport, MD., for over 10 years She loved children and kept many children over the years at her home. In addition she and her husband use to be financial secretary at Faith United Methodist Church. In her retirement she worked part time for the Lochstampfor Funeral Home, Inc. with her husband Joe. She and her husband Joe did extensive traveling with their travel company Valley Travels planning bus trips to places all over the country.

She was regular attendee of Otterbein Church Waynesboro, PA 17268.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son,Darryl Nichols, of Sterling Park, VA; a step daughter, Laura, wife of David Wagner , of Tucson, AZ; a brother, Richard D., husband of Janice Murdorf, of Winchester, VA; grandchildren Jeremiah J. Barr and Conner B. Barr both of Tucson, AZ.

She is preceded in death in addition to her parents two brother John C. Murdorf Jr. and Gerald E. Murdorf and his wife Jean.

A Celebration of life funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 1 p.m. in the Lochstampfor Funeral Home, Inc., corners of S. Church and W. Second Streets, Waynesboro, PA. The Rev. John Mullens officiating. Interment at St. Andrew's R.C. Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to in her memory to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105-1942.

Dear Joe, we are praying that God will comfort you and the loss of sweet Sheron.

We had the best trip of our lives with both of you. We have sweet memories.
