William Miller Obituary

William “Bill” Miller, age 71, of Landisburg died on February 27, 2021.  Born on June 27, 1949 to the late Harold and Stella (Weller) Miller, Bill is survived by his loving wife of 47years, Ann (Weibley) Miller, two children:  Amy (Thomas) Herd of Landisburg and Leroy (Jessi) Miller of Carlisle, three granddaughters:  Abigail, Caraline and Paige Herd of Landisburg, a brother, Donnie (Rhonda) Miller of Landisburg, and a niece, Sue Ellen Leonhard.

Bill was a farmer and truck driver all his life.  He retired from Giant on his birthday, June 27, 2015 to become a full-time farmer and raise beef cattle.  Bill enjoyed spending time with all his friends and there were many of them.  He was a hard-working farmer, who took great pride in being able to maintain all his farming equipment.  He was also able to take care of the many other problems that might occur about the farm and home.  Going cruising on those big cruise ships was a passion he genuinely enjoyed -- especially getting in the pool or hot tub with his friends or just hanging out somewhere on the ship.  Two of his other great joys were meeting friends at the “Breakfast Club”, as he like to call it, and, of course, spending time with his grand girls!

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to either (or both) the Landisburg Fire Company on-line at https://landisburgfireco.com or Landisburg Ambulance EMS, 301 Faculty Ave, Landisburg, PA  17040.

Funeral services for Bill are private and at the convenience of the family.
