Wilbur "Willie" B Rowe

Wilbur “Willie” Rowe, age 71, of both Millerstown and Rehoboth Beach, DE died on February 28, 2021.  Born on June 14, 1949 to the late Harry and Rosa (Keller) Rowe, Sr, Willie is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Carol (Carl) Rowe of both Millerstown and Rehoboth Beach, DE, a brother, Harry Rowe, Jr. of Mechanicsburg, sister-in-law, Esther Rowe of Elliottsburg and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Willie is preceded in death by two brothers:  Russell Rowe and his twin, Walter Rowe.

Willie retired in 2013 as a Heavy Equipment Operator (and fuel truck driver and truck driver trainer) for Perry County PennDOT.  He received many safety awards for his excellent work, and he was even recognized on a permanent statute for District 8.  Willie worked hard and remained private, but he loved to anonymously help others with repairs and yard work.  He was also a great cook – he created his own recipes and was a great source of information when cooking – especially regarding the pressure cooker and air fryer.  He was a member of the Turkey Valley United Methodist Church.

Funeral services for Willie are private and at the convenience of the family.
