Susan (Morrow) Shearer

Susan (Morrow) Shearer, age 65, joined her Heavenly Father on Friday, October 2, 2020.  Sue was born January 5, 1955 at home to the late Grant Earl and Esther (Reisinger) Morrow of Landisburg.   She is survived by her only daughter, Erin Morrison and her husband Jim, and their two sons Dillon and Cole Morrison, all of Landisburg.  In addition to her daughter and her family, Susan is survived by a sister, Jane Armstrong and a brother, Gary Morrow, both of Landisburg.  She also leaves behind three nieces and a nephew:  Misty Morrow of Enola, Megan Wilt of Shermans Dale, Heather Stone of Duncannon, and Brett Baily of Landisburg.  She was a compassionate and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  In addition to her parents, Susan is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Donald P Shearer. 

In addition to running a household and raising a family, Susan also worked for Sprint as a financial analyst for twenty-five years, before changing careers and becoming the owner of Red Rock Family Restaurant.  In her free time, Susan enjoyed going to the movies with her sister and Friday night dinners with friends.  Susan will be deeply missed by her canine companions Parker and Boomer.

Susan’s celebration of life will be held in the newly remodeled chapel of Nickel Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home, Inc. located at 3626 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville.  Receiving and greeting of friends will begin at 1 PM on Monday, October 12, followed by the service at 2 PM, with Reverend William Pipp officiating.
