Sharron C (Zellers) Lyons

Sharron C (Zellers) Lyons, fondly known as “Chick”, 71 of New Bloomfield, died unexpectedly in her home on May 28, 2024.  Born on February 19, 1953, in Harrisburg to the late Leroy E. and Edith M. (Cramer) Zellers, Sharron is survived by her son:  Jason Lyons (Susan) of Millerstown; and five siblings:  Gloria Smith of New Bloomfield, Carol Jean Jovic of Harrisburg, Beverly Zellers of Millerstown, Dennis Zellers of Shermans Dale, and Gary Zellers of Shermans Dale.  She will be missed by her companion of many years, William Gene Sheibley.  In addition to her parents, Sharron is preceded in death by two brothers:  Barry Zellers and Terry Zellers.

Sharron graduated with the Class of 1971 of West Perry Senior High School.  Throughout her life, she worked for Capital Products, Food Rite, and Capital Recovery Associates.

Sharron’s memorial service will be held on Friday, June 7 from 6 to 8 PM in the calming chapel of Nickel Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home, Inc. in Loysville.  This service will follow a casual “Open House” style, where people will pay their condolences to the family and visit with one another.  The family will privately inurn Sharron in Eschol Memorial Cemetery, at their convenience.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Appalachian Pug Rescue online at www. https://appalachianpugrescue.org/donate-to-appalachian-pug-rescue/
