Sandra Gutshall

Sandra “Sandy” (Acri) Gutshall joined the Heavenly Father on June 27, 2020. She was the wife of Donald (Donnie) Gutshall, who preceded her in death in 2014. They spent most of their married life living in Blain but moved to Boiling Springs in 2002 to be closer to to their daughter and grandson.
Sandy enjoyed volunteering, especially for the Blain Fire Company Auxiliary, and attending her grandson’s activities later in life. She enjoyed going to the beach, bingo, and estate sales (attempting to grow her collection of chickens on the nest).
Sandy is survived by her daughter (Dawn), grandson (Andrew), and her dachshund, Slinky. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Layne, and brother, Earl Shope.
 
Sandy was loved by her family, friends, and co-workers. She was a graduate of Susquenita and a member of the Middlesex United Methodist Church.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 2 at 11 am at the Blain Cemetery, located at 301 Big Spring Road, Blain. The COVID policies of social distancing will be observed. Masks are preferred, but not required.
 In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to the Blain Volunteer Fire Company and Hospice of Central Pennsylvania.
