Ruth E Kelly

Ruth Emma Kelly, age 74 of Bellefonte, and formerly of Enola, entered her eternal home on February 6, 2026.  Born in Carlisle on October 25, 1951, to the late Charles D. and Ruby K. (Salzburg) Kelly, Ruth is survived by only two siblings:  Kay Wilver (John Jr.) of Duncannon and Kenneth E. Kelly; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her only son:  Kevin S. Kelly, who died in 2025; and six siblings:  Samuel N. Kelly, John J. Kelly, Edward C. Kelly, Brian L. Kelly, Mary Lou Barlup, and Charlotte L. Kelly.

After graduating from high school, Ruth embarked on her career in health care as a Housekeeper.  She worked in numerous nursing homes throughout her life.  Ruth touched a lot of hearts through her journey of life, was sweet, loved creating crafts to give away, and was passionate about playing bingo.  Her very favorite pastime was spending precious time with her family.  Her family will miss her dearly, but are relieved that she is no longer in any pain.

Graveside services for Ruth will be held at Landisburg Cemetery on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 2 PM, with Pastor Rafe Sanderson officiating.
