Russell L. Knepp, 61 of Blain, passed away at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital on January 27, 2025. Born on April 13, 1963, in Lewistown to the late Andrew R. and Ruth M. (Palm) Knepp, Russ is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Jacqueline (Shreffler) Knepp; three children: AdaRose Brown (Jesse) of Reedsville, JordanAnthony Hockenberry (Lacey) of McAlisterville, and SaraGrace Wallace of Duncannon; .seven grandchildren: Austin, Riley, Remington, Maddison, Hunter, Abby, and Ty; three siblings: Kenneth W. Knepp (Robin) of Saxton, Debra Huber (Chris) and Shelley E. Knepp (Ann) both of Mifflintown; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Russ is preceded in death by three siblings: Anthony Knepp, Alma Knepp and Cheryl Lee Knepp.
Russ worked at Empire Kosher Poultry processing plant and Tedd Wood Inc. kitchen cabinets, both of Mifflintown, and naturally the family business - Shreffler Brothers Poultry Farm in Blain. In his free time, Russ enjoyed riding his Harley (his 50th birthday gift from his wife) and the associated good times, horseback riding, playing pool with friends and family, and planting roses.
Funeral services for Russ will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider making memorial donations to Blain Fire Department, 4 West Main Street, Blain, PA 17006.
