Ronald Lee Bower

Ronald Lee Bower, 81 passed away suddenly in a car accident on Saturday, February 11, 2023 in Sebring, FL.  Born April 4, 1941 in Harrisburg to the late George Fritz and Anna (Hutchinson) Bower, he was the beloved husband of 56 years of Mary Jane Bower, who also died in the same auto accident.  Ron worked in the telecommunications field most of his life and had a passion for music and photography.  He proudly served in the United States Air Force.

Ron is survived by his daughters:  Judith Lynn Hammond of Ogallala, NE and Rhondala Jayne Mulvaney of North Fort Myers, FL; and his son, George Fritz Bower II of Gainesville, FL; nine grandchildren:  Crystal, Kimberly, Levi, Aaron, Mark, Alexandrea, Nathaniel, Gabrielle, Bo; and seven great grandchildren.

A joint memorial service will be held at New Life Assembly of God, 397 Bridgeport Road, Landisburg on October 28 for both Ronald and Mary Bower.  The memorial gathering of friends will be held from 10 to 11 AM, followed by the Memorial Service at 11 AM, officiated by Rev. Robert O. Rice, Jr.  In lieu of flowers, please make monetary donations toward the memorial services.
