Robert B McNaughton

Robert B. McNaughton of Elliottsburg, age 61, died on November 27, 2021.  Born on March 14, 1960, to the late Bruce and Virginia (Gray) McNaughton, he was a good father, grandfather, brother, and son.  He is survived by two sons:  Kyle McNaughton of New Bloomfield and Tyler Underwood of Shermans Dale; seven grandchildren:  Gunnor, Mavrick, Patian, Maci, Kayley, Avery, and Alexa; four siblings:  Catherine (Harvey) Clouse of Landisburg, LouAnn Bellis of Mechanicsburg, Ken (Brenda) McNaughton of Loysville, and Mark (Joy) McNaughton of Landisburg; and too many nieces and nephews to mention by name.  In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by a grandson, Maddox.

Bob’s adult career was spent driving for others.  His most recent job was as a van driver for Dums Bus Service.  The list of other companies for which he worked includes Masland, New England Motor Freight, Sysco, Allen Distribution, and Progressive Die Company.  In his free time, Bob loved to hunt and fish, play pool, and tinker with small engine repair.  He was an avid member of the Ickesburg Sportsmen Association and in a competitive pool league.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held in the newly renovated chapel of Nickel Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home in Loysville on Saturday, December 4 from 4 to 6 PM.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Bob’s name to Ickesburg Sportsmen Association, 306 Snyder Lane, Ickesburg, PA  17037.
