Robert Ray (Bob) Kiner

Robert Ray (Bob) Kiner, age 68, of Blain, PA, was called home to the Lord on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.

Robert was born in Blain, PA on December 18, 1949, a son of Lula Virginia (Stahl) Kiner and the late Ray William Kiner.

He was the husband of Betty Kathryn (Swartz) Kiner.  On June 20, 1970, they were married at Blain, PA.

He worked in maintenance for the West Perry School District, Perry County for 35 years until his retirement. After retirement Robert was a Amish taxi driver.

In addition to Robert’s wife he is survived by two sons Robert (Rob) F., husband of Cathleen Kiner, of Shermans Dale, PA; Richard (Rick) A. Kiner, partner Lloyd Harbold, of New Cumberland, PA; a sister, Nancy L. Panilaitis, of Blain PA; brother, Roy W. Kiner, of Blain, PA. and 5 grandsons Nakota and Gaige Kiner and Joseph, Christopher and Tyler Bland. Robert is preceded in death by his brother Ronald E. Kiner

Memorial Service will be held at Blain Picnic Grounds on Sept 1, 2018 at 1pm, with Rev. Black officiating; lunch will be provided. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Perry County Animal Rescue or Blain Ambulance Club.
