Pauline R. (Dupert) Flick, 93 of Ickesburg, passed away in her home with her son and caregiver, Randy, by her side on March 14, 2025. Born at home to the late Charles W. and Florence M. (Smith) Dupert of Ickesburg on February 7, 1932, Pauline was one of sixteen children. She is survived by her three children: Randy K. Flick (Ronald) of Ickesburg, Terry L. Flick (Barbara) of Etters, and Dorothy M. Messimer (Donald) of Ickesburg; four grandchildren: Stephanie, Sherry, Stephen, and Jennifer; one great granddaughter, Chloe; one great great granddaughter, Zoey; and nine siblings: Idella Hench, Ethel Orris, Gladys Dupert, Dorothy Jacobs, Debra Sharar, Ralph Dupert, Robert Dupert, Kenneth Dupert, and Ronald Dupert. In addition to her parents, Pauline is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 18 years, Robert Carl Flick, who died in 1968 – a result of a tragic hunting accident; her great granddaughter, Ashley; and six siblings: Bertha Peck, William Dupert, Merle Dupert, Frank Dupert, Clarence Dupert, and Charles Dupert, Jr.
Pauline retired in 1994 from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Motor Licensing. Throughout her working career, she also worked at The Book of the Month Club in Mechanicsburg, CH Masland and Sons in Carlisle, Victory Garden Nursing Home in Duncannon, Leader Nursing Home in Lemoyne, East Waterford Dress Factory, Millerstown Dress Factory, Ickesburg Dress Factory, and Hoffmans Grocery Store in Ickesburg.
Pauline’s funeral services will be private. Interment will follow in Saville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Residential Hospice, 100 Sterling Parkway #110, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
