Patti E (Smith) Harrild

Patti Estelle (Smith) Harrild, 63 of Mechanicsburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 28, 2026.  Born in Lebanon, NH on May 27, 1962, to the late North and Kathryn Ann “Kitty” (German) Smith, Patti was a loving and devoted grandmother, loving her family and friends.  She is survived by three children:  Kirstin Y. Bothwell of VT, Sumner R. Bothwell of Mechanicsburg, and Kayla C. Bothwell-Stevens (Billy) of Newberry, VT; seven grandchildren:  Aiden Turner, Conner, Siera, Ryleigh, Destiny, William, and Skyla; and her brother, Jeff Smith of Blain.  In addition to her parents, Patti is preceded in death by three siblings:  Craig Smith, Diane Stuckey, and Sharon Broadwater.

Patti completed high school in New Hampshire at Hanover High School and continued her education at a community college in San Francisco, specializing in Graphic Design.  She raised a family and maintained the household.  This feisty lady loved to feed and watch the wild animals that came for daily visits.  She treated her cats as her four-footed children.  She passionately enjoyed her hobbies – crocheting, Mandala coloring pages, watching YouTube videos, and cooking.  Her specialty dish was Chicken Lush.  She also loved the outdoors and gardening.

Memorial services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
