Max L. Reapsome, age 88 of Loysville was called home on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the U.P.M.C. Carlisle Hospital.
Born December 26, 1930 in Loysville he was the son of the late John and Grace (Lightner) Reapsome.
He was a graduate of Blain Union High School.
He was the husband of Phyllis (Flickinger) Reapsome and his late wife Flo Louise (Weibley)
Max was a life long farmer.
He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Loysville; Madison Grange, Blain Lodge 706 and the Blain Lions Club.
In addition to his wife he is survived by four sons Jed Reapsome and his wife Tracie; Jan Reapsome and his wife Kate both of Loysville: Jay Reapsome and his wife Kelley of State College; Jon Reapsome and his wife Jacque of Carlisle, a daughter Joy Enck and her husband Barry of Loysville; 3 step children; a sister Cecile Buck of Skaneateles, NY; 17 grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 19 step great grandchildren. In addition to his first wife and parents he is preceded in death by a sister Mary Louise McMillen and 2 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening, September 23, 2019 from 6 to 8 PM in the Nickel-Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home, Inc. 3626 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville and again on Tuesday from 10:am to 11 A.M. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 5593 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville, PA followed by a funeral service at the church. Interment in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery.
