Maureen (MacFadden) Turner, age 65 of Elliottsburg, gained her angel wings on January 17, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 15, 1958 in Germantown to the late James M. and Ruth (Marett) MacFadden, Maureen is survived by three of her own children: David J. Turner of Lake Wales, FL, Fallan Turner, and James “Jimmy” Turner; plus eight step children: Gary, Rick, Linda, Gail, Mark, Debbie, Skippy, and Douglas; eleven grandchildren; and four siblings: David (Jodi) MacFadden of Croyden, Joanne (Jack) Doherty of Newtown, Susan (Bud) Gates of Fallston, and Kathy MacFadden of Langhorn. She was the glue that held the Turner family together with Skip. She will be dearly missed by her companion, Steve Reigh. She is preceded in death by her late husband, “Skip” Earl Turner.
Maureen graduated with the 1976 Class of Pennsbury High School and later worked as an Assistant Manager at Walgreens. She loved working with her hands in the soil. She was passionate about horticulture and gardening.
Memorial services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
