BLAIN - Martin Luther Miller, Sr., 92, of Blain went to be with the Lord on Friday morning, February 9, 2018, in his home.
Luther was born November 28, 1925 in Blain to the late Andrew and Margaret Annie (Gutshall) Miller. He was preceded in death by a son, Martin Luther Miller, Jr., a granddaughter, Mandi Erin Wardecker and his siblings, David Andrew Miller, Verna Annie Miller and Frances Marie Miller.
Luther was a farmer most of his life. He also worked at Frank Smith's Feedmill, Bureau of Forestry, U. S. Mail Contractor and retired from Roadway. In his retirement years he transported the Amish.
He was a member of The Church of The Living Christ, Loysville; and Blain Ambulance Company.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Jane (Anthony) Miller, six children, Linda M. Shutt (Dennis), Peggy M. Miller, Mary M. Morrison (Kenneth), Martha M. Wardecker (Millard), Donna J. Kint (Roger), Andrew G. Miller, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 17, 2018 in the Church of The Living Christ, 2401 Fort Robinson Road, Loysville, PA 17047 with Pastor Doran Wray officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday in the church. Burial will be in the Blain Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to any Missionaries that the Church of The Living Christ support's.
