Lloyd Yost Pontius

Lloyd Yost Pontius, age 93, of Loysville, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019.

He was born on June 18, 1926 to the late Henry L. Pontius and Suzanne (Rhienfeldt) Pontius.

He worked at Carlisle Farm Service as a deliveryman and mechanic. Previously, he worked at Purina Mills and was a member of the United States Navy during WW II.

He is survived by six children; two sons Henry Pontius II and Andrew (Ilene) Pontius; and four daughters; Deborah (Eugene) Stambaugh, Sue (Blaine) Flanders, Cindy (Mark) Bowermaster, and Teresa Jensen. As well as, 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his four brothers; Walter, Pierce, Morris, and Raymond.   

Services will be private.
