Linda "Lindsay" J (Brown) Peiffer

Linda J. (Brown) Peiffer, known to most as “Lindsay”, age 58 of Elliottsburg, gained her angel wings on June 20, 2026.  Born in Harrisburg on December 23, 1967, to John S. and Sandra J. (Riedel) Brown of Duncannon, Lindsay is survived by her parents; two children:  Paige N. Poticher of Lykens and William M. Magnin (Cortney) of New Cumberland; one granddaughter, Rylee; one sister, Shelly Burtnett (Eric) of New Smyrna Beach, FL; two nephews:  Justen Brown (Lydia) and Austin Burtnett; and two great nephews:  Jaxson and Damian.  She always put family first and was generous, giving and loving.

Lindsay graduated with the 1985 Class of Halifax High School and continued her education at Palmer School for Medical Assistants.  She was an active member of New Life Assembly of God church in Landisburg.  She worked as a cashier at Karns.

The best description of Lindsay is to describe her self-acclaimed spirit animal:  The wild mustang is always wild and free running; always admired, but never really letting people touch the “real her”; never meant to be in a tame role; and certainly never broken to stay within a pasture.  Lindsay was inspirational, caring, compassionate, graceful, and spiritually devoted to what she believed in.  She loved the beach, animals, camping, and spending quality time with family and friends.  She would smile and receive joy when knowing that she was able to give somebody better than what she had – that’s all she ever wanted.

Lindsay’s family will accept condolences from friends and family on Wednesday, July 8 from 10 to 12 noon at New Life Assembly of God church, 397 Bridgeport Road, Landisburg, PA  17040.  The Celebration of Lindsay’s Life will begin at 12 noon, with Pastor Rafe Sanderson officiating.
