(Wagner) Binger, who died in 2018; and two siblings:  Loy Binger and Jean Kessler.

Kermit graduated from Blain Vocational School.  He had a variety of jobs in his early years.  He traveled over several states for Olan Mills setting up appointments for having pictures taken.  He worked at Hall’s Dairy bottling milk and making ice cream.  He proudly served in the United States Army from 1948 to 1949, where he earned the Army of Occupation Medal with a “Japan” clasp, awarded to US military members who served in Japan after World War II.  Upon return to civilian life, Kermit was appointed Justice of the Peace in Blain Borough and was a founding member of the Blain Ambulance Club.  He worked as a Bank Manager for Cumberland County National Bank (CCNB), from which he retired in 1984.  He also opened his own ERIE Insurance office, where he was a licensed insurance agent, from which he retired in 1991.  Kermit was an avid Civil War enthusiast.  He was a lifelong member of Zion United Church of Christ in Blain, where he taught Sunday School for over 60 years.

The family would also like to thank the Bridges at Bent Creek for providing his excellent care over the past several months.
