Joseph Eugene McCartney

Joseph E. McCartney, age 75 of Landisburg died Tuesday June 15, 2021 at home.  Born March 21, 1946 in Mechanicsburg, Pa, he was the son of the late John and Evelyn (Kimmel) McCartney.  Joe was a United States Army veteran serving Honorably in Vietnam war. Over the years Joe worked many positions at various service and industrial companies, and retired as a Service Man for the former Wilbert Burial Vault Co. Enola. Joe was an avid gardener, NASCAR fan, Baseball fan and connoisseur of good music.

A loving husband and father, Joe is survived by his wife Brenda L. (Wittle) McCartney, his children Joey McCartney, Joe Ingream and wife Stacy, Alex Hoffman, Rochelle Hinterliter and husband Brad, Sarah Moore and husband Brian, Stevie Anthony Yohn and husband Raymond, Kelly Jo McCartney, and 9 grandchildren; soon to be 11

A Celebration of Joe’s life will be announced by the family at a later date.
