Jeremy Miller Obituary

Jeremy “Jerm” Miller, of Landisburg, died suddenly and unexpectedly at home on December 23, 2020.  He was 38.  He was born in Carlisle on January 23, 1982 to Glenn Miller, Sr. of Blain and M. Kim (Brown) Miller of Landisburg.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by two beautiful daughters:  Payton Miller of Mechanicsburg and Aniayah Miller of Landisburg, a sister. Jamie Engel and her husband Timothy (and their four children:  Aaliyah, Dakota, Jewlean and Trinity) of Millerstown, and a brother, Glenn Miller, Jr. (and his daughter Remington) of Blain.  Also, surviving Jeremy is his maternal grandmother, Anne Brown of Loysville and his paternal grandparents Charles R and Barb (Trego) Miller of New Bloomfield.

Jeremy graduated with the class of 2001 of West Perry High School.  He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and snake sacking.  He could drive anything with a motor and steering wheel.  He dearly loved his daughters.  He enjoyed driving Izzy, his German Shepard, crazy by divebombing his drone near her, until she evened the score by catching it and chewing it up.  Friends and family remembered his impromptu road trip to California, breaking his brother’s arm by wrestling in the living room, and drinking an entire bottle of Tabasco sauce.  Not only was he incredibly smart, but he could talk his way out of any trouble he encountered.  He loved helping others and spending time with his friends.  He was also very good and enjoyed drawing.

The memorial service for Jeremy will be Saturday, January 2, 2021 in the newly renovated chapel of Nickel Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home, Inc. at 11 AM, with Pastor Dave Schreffler officiating.  COVID mandates of social distancing and mandatory masks will be followed.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the account of Payton and Aniayah Miller established at the Bank of Landisburg.
