James M Eckenberger

James M. Eckenberger, 68 of Ickesburg, died on October 2, 2024 in Premier at Perry Village.  Jim was born at home on May 18, 1956, to the late Benjamin A. and Dorothy Margaret (Delancey) Eckenberger of Blain.  Jim is survived by his two sisters:  Nina M. Tolbert (Frank) of Millerstown and Edna P. Shuman of Honey Grove.  In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by four siblings:  Naomi E. Eckenberger, who died in 2017, and Marlin R. Eckenberger, Roy E. Eckenberger, and Joanne L. Clouser, who all three died in 2019.

Jim graduated from Greenwood High School, where he earned his diploma.  He worked as a laborer in the construction industry, until he retired.  In his free time, Jim enjoyed leatherwork and riding motorcycles.  He was also growing his skill as a tattoo artist.

Jim’s funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
