Jack T. Wilt, 96 years young, of Blain passed from this earth and joined his Heavenly Father on July 10, 2024. Jack was born at home on December 2, 1927 to the late Roy L. and Lourene E. (Thomas) Wilt of Blain. He is survived by his three children: Jackson T. Wilt, Jr. (Debbie) of Shermans Dale, Edward E. Wilt (Patricia) of Shippensburg, and Penny M. Wilt of Newville; seven grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his devoted wife of 67 years, Wanda Grace (Barclay) Wilt; and his sister, Suzanne E. Witmer.
Jack graduated from Blain Union High School and followed his passion (and his lifelong career) into dairy farming. He retired in 1990, after 45 years of service. He was a Man of Faith and attended Manassa Community Baptist Church in Blain.
Jack’s graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 16 at 10 AM at Restland Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Richard Black, Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Jack’s name to Manassa Community Baptist Church, 70 Back Hollow Road, Blain, PA 17006.
