H. Joan (Binger) Adair, age 93 of Blain, gained her angel wings on February 4, 2026. Born at home on July 27, 1932, to the late Fred D. and Nellie E. (Bistline) Binger of Blain, Joan is survived by her three children: Daniel Adair (Kelly) of Loysville, Penny Andrick (David) of Mount Joy, and Timothy Adair (Heidi) of Loysville; seven grandchildren: Derrick, Lauren, Ashley, Nicole, Kayla, Benjamin, and Grant; and 18 great grandchildren. Joan is preceded in death by her husband, John B. Adair, who died in 2012, and her three siblings: Kermit Binger, Loy Binger, and Jean Kessler.
Joan graduated with the Class of 1950 from Blain Union High School and was a lifelong member of Zion United Church of Christ in Blain. She worked side-by-side with her late husband dairy farming. She retired in 1996.
Joan found immense joy spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joan was a treasured baker best known for her potato rolls, black walnut cake, lemon chiffon cake, and molasses cookies.
Joan’s services will be private and at the convenience of the family. It is the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, that memorial donations be made in Joan’s name to Blain Volunteer Fire Company, 4 W. Main Street, Blain, PA 17006.
Arrangements entrusted to Nickel Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home, Inc., located in Loysville, PA.
