Faye Arlene (Clouser) Hall, known to many as “MawMaw”, age 90 of Loysville, joined her Heavenly Father on January 26, 2025. Born at home on April 21, 1934, to the late Ashbel Lee and Ethel Mae (Reisinger) Clouser of Elliottsburg, Faye was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by two children: Douglas Hall of Elliottsburg and Tami Weaver (Dan) of Loysville; four grandchildren: Dylan Hall (Sara), Lavonne Ricker (Joel), Ashli Gibboney (Jerry), and Hunter Weaver (Jeannie); and six great grandchildren: Emery, Maddox, Jaymison, Barrett, Teagan, and Adrian. In addition to her parents, Faye is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Stewart D. Hall, who died in 2004 and her brothers: Larry “Dip” Clouser and Lee “Son” Clouser.
Faye graduated with the 1953 Class of Perry Joint High School and was a member of New Bloomfield United Methodist Church. In addition to raising a family and running a household, Faye worked in several jobs: Duncannon Dress Factory and she retired (the first time) from Blue Shield. She retired the second time from West Perry High School cafeteria. As described by her family, Faye was a professional yard-saler. She knew where to go to get the best bargains, which were items on her list. She was feisty, outspoken and dearly loved her family. She was an avid reader and passionately watched nature from her front porch.
Graveside services for Faye will be private and at the convenience of the family.
