Edna L. (Milligan) Clark, 98, of Loysville, passed away October 29, 2021 at Chapel Pointe in Carlisle where she resided since, March 2016.

She was born in Loysville, on September 10, 1923, to the late Van B. and Jean (Ernest) Milligan.  She was a graduate of the former Blain Vocational School in 1943.

Her greatest enjoyment in life was being a wife to Lawrence “Shrimp” and a loving and nurturing mother to her three daughters, Linda, Jeanie and Cathy.  She absolutely adored her granddaughter Megan, her grandson Matthew, her great grandson Merrick and great granddaughter Morgan.  Her favorite pastimes were cooking and baking for her family, playing games and reading to grandchildren, and putting together jigsaw puzzles with her husband.

She was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Loysville.  She was preceded in death by five brothers, John D., Henry E. “Ernie”, Richard E. “Dick”, Edwin C. “Ted”, and Robert V. Milligan and four sisters, Marietta Shields, Minnie Shull, Jeanette Albright, and Esther Smith.

Surviving are her three daughters, Linda (James) Green of Mt. Dora, FL, Loretta “Jeanie” Clark of Loysville and companion Jan Smith, and Cathy (David) Weibley of Mechanicsburg; two grandchildren, Megan (Michael) Aiello of Mechanicsburg, and Matthew Weibley of Harrisburg; one great grandson, Merrick Aiello: and one great granddaughter, Morgan; two sisters, Martha Loy, Chapel Pointe Carlisle, and Florence Emlet, of Loysville.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Chapel Pointe for the excellent loving care provided our mother by the Personal Care staff, where she resided for 4 ½ years, and to Family Place staff, where she spent the last 13 months.  Also, a special thanks to Homeland Hospice for their wonderful care of mom and all the support provided the family.
