Donna (Reisinger) Martin

Donna (Reisinger) Martin, age 75 of Carlisle, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 4, 2021.  She bravely fought a courageous battle with cancer.  Born on April 15, 1945, to the late Warren and Betty (Parks) Reisinger of Ickesburg, Donna is survived by her four children:  Lori Ann (Jeff) Dunn of Carlisle, Jeanette Louise (Jason) McManus of Loris, SC, and Robert Michael Martin and Troy Morton Martin both of Carlisle, and grandchildren and great grandchildren – just too many to count.  Donna is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Robert E Martin, who died in 2017.  Donna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She always put family first and was generous, giving and loving.

In addition to raising a family and running a household, Donna worked at Maslands, Montgomery Wards, Piezo Crystal, and Cumberland County Emergency Preparedness.  She retired from Cumberland County Drug and Alcohol in Carlisle.  She belonged to West Shore Woodcarvers, AAA, and AARP.  In her rare free time, Donna enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing, goldmining, and painting and drawing animals.

The memorial service for Donna will be held at Nickel Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home in Loysville, in the newly renovated chapel, on Thursday, April 8 at 1:30 PM, with Rev. Bill Pipp officiating.  Inurnment will be at a later date with her husband, Robert, at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.
