Donald R Fulk

Donald R. Fulk of Shermans Dale died on January 13, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was 72.  He was born in Lebanon, PA on February 13, 1950 to the late Dexter and Esther (Kramer) Fulk.  He is survived by his beautiful wife, Sharon (McLaughlin) Fulk, three children:  Shana (Scott) Shade of New Cumberland, Tonia (Nick) Grassi of Lemoyne, and Shawn Fulk; fourteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a sister, Delores (Harold) Moyer of Fredericksburg.  In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Fulk, and a brother, Richard Fulk.

Donald proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1972 as a Boatswain’s Mate, where he earned the National Defense Service Medal and Vietnam Service Medal.  Upon completing his tour of duty, he worked for Hershey Foods in molding until his retirement in 1992.

Donald proudly held memberships in the following organizations:  Life Member of the New Bloomfield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #7463, Honor Guard with Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #7463, American Legion, Perseverance Fire Department in Jonestown; Millerstown Moose Lodge #925, and Carlisle Fraternal Order of Eagles Post #1299.

Funeral services for Donald will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 in the calming chapel of Nickel Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home, Inc in Loysville.  The visitation time will be from 10 to 11 AM, with the funeral service beginning at 11 AM, with Rev. Bill Pipp officiating.  Interment will be in Fort Indiantown Gap with military honors at 1:30 PM.
