Dennis G Smith, Jr.

Dennis "Dege" G. Smith Jr. passed July 21, of 2020.

He was born July 28, 1967 in Carlisle to Dennis G. Smith Sr. and B. Lorene (Rockwell) Morrow.

He was a 1986 graduate of West Perry High School. He was employed for 20 years at Davis Landscaping, and later worked various labor jobs. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and all-around outdoorsman. In the springtime, he enjoyed morel mushroom hunting, as well as growing crops in his garden. Additionally, he was a fan of Nascar and liked to play guitar among his family and friends.

Surviving are his parents, Dennis G. Smith Sr. of Blain, and B. Lorene (Rockwell) Morrow of Loysville; a son, Dakota S. Smith of Loysville; a long-time partner Traci Reisinger of Blain; two brothers, Devin G. Smith and wife Jill of Loysville, and Loren D. Smith of Blain; a sister, Lorissa D. (Smith) Delaney and husband Mark of Wellsville, York Co.; and three nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. A celebration will be scheduled when it is safe for large gatherings.
