David Eugene Briner, age 68 of Blain, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on July 12, 2023. Born on April 3, 1955 in Harrisburg to the late David R and Shirley R (Henry) Briner, David is survived by his two children: Jesse Briner of Carlisle and Cierra Briner of Saltillo (Huntington County); granddaughter, Faith; and four siblings: Carrol, Anna Mae, Diane, and Dick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings: Duke and Lynn.
David was a simple man. He was self-employed as a drywaller for 27 years, after working for others for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed hiking in the woods and mountains. He utilized his passion by volunteering for the PA DCNR Bureau of Forestry, New Germantown, where he repaired the trails and lean-tos. He was also a part of the ECGC (East Coast Gold Cup) and spent hours throwing horseshoes.
Funeral services for David will be private and at the convenience of the family.
