Christa Dawn (Garber) Clouser

Christa “Krysta” Dawn (Garber) Clouser of Landisburg, age 63, went to be with the Lord on November 2, 2021, at home with her husband and children by her side.  Born on March 17, 1958 to the late Niles and Mary Lou (Lightner) Garber, she was a cherished wife, mother and Nanny.  She loved her family more than anything.  Her greatest joys were watching her grandkids play sports and going on yearly family beach vacations.  The holidays were her favorite time of the year to celebrate with her family.  In addition to raising a family and running a household, Chris worked in Customer Service for UPMC Pinnacle Hospital Carlisle.  Her love and kind spirit will forever be missed.

Surviving Chris is her devoted husband of 44 years, Mark W. Clouser as well as four children:  Kelly (Justin) Swarner of Landisburg, Jacob (Sarah) Clouser and Melissa (Joe) Jutba, both of New Bloomfield, and Nichole (Tim) Liddick of Loysville; eleven grandchildren:  Jordan, Jada, Kiersten, Ashlyn, Hayden, Ashlyn, Kaiden, Evan, Nora, Cole and Easton; and three siblings:  Richard (Sue) Garber and Debra (Tim) Lawrence of Landisburg, and Daniel (Joyce) Garber of Chambersburg.  In addition to her late parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James “Jesse” Garber and her niece, Tracy Wenger.

Funeral services for Chris will be held on Saturday, November 6, in the newly renovated chapel of Nickel Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home in Loysville.  The viewing will be from 10 AM to noon.  The funeral service will follow immediately at noon, with the Pastor Richard Black officiating.  The interment will be in Restland Cemetery.
