Catherine (White) Gossard

Catherine (White) Gossard of Camp Hill died on December 9, 2020, as still one more of many victims of COVID.  She was 71.  She was born in Harrisburg on February 16, 1949 to the late Henry A. White and Catherine (Carchidi) White.  She is survived by her daughter, Laura (Gossard) Seitchik and her husband Steven, and their children Madison and Jack Seitchik, all of Dillsburg.  In addition to her daughter, Catherine is survived by her sister, Virginia (George) Olsen of Hillsboro, OR.  In addition to her late parents, Catherine is preceded in death by her brother, Henry A. White.

Catherine was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church of Mechanicsburg.  She retired in 2009 from Holy Spirit Hospital after 30 years of service as a benefits specialist.  Catherine was loved by many and will be remembered for her kind heart, and her helpful and giving nature.  She was happiest being around family and friends and most importantly, her grandchildren who were her pride and joy.

It is the family’s request; memorial donations can be made in Catherine’s name to any person or charity that will aid people or animals in need.

Services are being held privately and at the convenience of the family.
