Carolyn L. (Jacobs) Morrow, age 80 of Landisburg, received her angel’s wings on December 1, 2025. Born at home on August 20, 1945, to the late Emory A. and Kathryn S. (Flickenger) Jacobs of Elliottsburg, Carolyn is survived by her two children: Brian Jacobs (Naomi) of Blain and Cindy Snyder of Landisburg; five grandchildren: Emory Jacobs of Blain, Nehemiah Jacobs (Kristine) of New Bloomfield, Hannah Weaver (Johann) of Blain, Jesse Jacobs (Olivia) of Gardners, and Billy Snyder of Landisburg; two great granddaughters: Aletha and Cora; and two siblings: James Jacobs of OK and Edith Shuler of Harrisburg. In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Dennis K Morrow; and four siblings: an infant sister, Mary Peck, Ethel Stahl, and John Jacobs.
Carolyn graduated with the Class of 1964 from GreenPark Union High School. In addition to raising a family and running a household, she also worked for Kinney Shoe Company and the Pancake Wagon. She retired as a Cook from West Perry School District in 2013 after 16 years of service. In her free time, she volunteered with Landisburg Fire Company, Landisburg EMS, Shermans Valley Heritage Days, and Tuscarora Valley Heritage Days. When able, Carolyn and her late husband loved to go camping together in the trailer. She found peace and relaxation in gardening both flowers and vegetables and thoroughly enjoyed stitching her plastic canvas crafts for the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial donation in Carolyn’s name to Landisburg Fire Department, 301 E. faculty Avenue, Landisburg, PA 17040.
Funeral services for Carolyn will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements entrusted to Nickel Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home, Inc. of Loysville.
