Beverly Gail (Duncan) Wise

Beverly G. (Duncan) Wise, age 71, of Shermans Dale, entered into her eternal home on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.  She was the daughter of the late Willis and Esther (Hair) Duncan of Shermans Dale.  In addition to her parents, Bev was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wise, Sr.; infant daughter; sister Sharon Black; infant brother Maurice Duncan; and niece Christine Ulsh.

Bev retired after over 40 years employment with Carlisle Tire and Wheel. After retirement, she worked part-time for several years at The Bon Ton. She enjoyed gardening and loved her morning glories and sharing her vegetable harvest each year. Bev liked going to breakfast with her friends and visiting the casino, especially when she won. Bev was generous and loved giving to family and friends. It was rare to ever buy her a meal because she always got the check first. She was very witty and fun-loving.  Bev adored and spoiled her canine companion, DJ.  True to her roots, she loved home cooking and “salt of the earth” living characterized by her generous, loyal and loving spirit.

Left to celebrate her life is her son, Donald Wise, Jr. (Michelle) of Shermans Dale; granddaughters Martel Arce (Devon) of Harrisburg, Gabrielle Arce and Madison Wise; a sister Willetta Huth (Carl); and a nephew Nelson Rinehart, all of Shermans Dale.
