Betty (Confer) Dickinson of Ickesburg, age 84, died on December 12, 2021. She was born on September 21, 1937 to the late John and Eva (Schoonover) Confer of Wellsboro. She is survived by two daughters: Michele (David) Sheaffer of Ickesburg and Linda (Barry) Wisotzkey of Kodak, TN; two granddaughters: Allison (Lance) Newlin of Ickesburg and Samantha (Brandon) Girard of Millerstown; three great grandchildren: Hadlee, Jaxtyn, and Baby Girl due in March; and a sister, Margaret Blackwell. In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her first husband, Franklin English, and her second husband, Leonard Dickinson, as well as five siblings.
Betty retired in the early 2000s from Broad Acres Nursing Home as a personal aide. She was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church of Ansonia. She loved quilting, reading, crocheting, completing jigsaw puzzles, and doting on the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services are being held privately and at the convenience of the family.
