Betty J (Hall) Brenize

Betty J. (Hall) Brenize, 96 years young of Harrisburg, died peacefully in Emerald Nursing and Rehabilitation Home in Elizabethtown on January 20, 2024.  Born on July 11, 1927 in Harrisburg to the late Carl W. and Elizabeth G. (Houghton) Hall, Betty is survived by her two sons:  Barry (Mildred) Brenize of Harrisburg and Edward (Linda) Brenize of Duncannon; eight grandchildren, and too many great grandchildren to count.  In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Warren W. Brenize, who died in 2012 and her sister, Ethel Koch.

Betty graduated from John Harris High School and followed her passion of teaching.  She worked as a Teacher’s Aid for Easter Seals for many years.  She was a member of Stevens Memorial United Methodist Church in Harrisburg.

Betty will be entombed beside her husband in a private service at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
