Apryl Dawn Smith

Apryl Dawn Smith, age 44 of Carlisle, died tragically and unexpectedly on May 15, 2023.  Also known to her family as Prylly, she was born in Dayton, OH on April 28, 1979 to the late Douglas J. Smith and Lori (Green) Group of Loysville.  In addition to her father, Apryl is preceded in death by her sister, Adriana “Sam” Smith, who died in 2022.

After finishing school at West Perry, Apryl worked at many restaurants as a server.  Her favorite color was purple and she gave the greatest hugs.  She loved animals, especially dogs, and her family, especially her nieces and nephew.  She was full of love and was always willing to give to others.  She will be remembered for her wicked sense of humor.

A private service will be held for Apryl at a convenient time in the future for the family.
