Anthony W. Rotz, known to most as “Tony”, age 66 of New Bloomfield, died on November 21, 2025, in his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Chambersburg on May 23, 1959 to the late Olen S. and Mary Jane (Peters) Rotz, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of seven years, Joy (Hiester) Rotz; three sons: Joseph E. Rotz (Tiffany) of Liverpool, Bradley W. Rotz of Shermans Dale, and Wayne A. Rotz of New Bloomfield; two step children: Rene’ J. Renninger (Harvey) of New Bloomfield and Paul D. Renninger (Bryana) of Beavertown; eight grandchildren; two step grandchildren; one great grandchild – with an another on the way; two siblings – both of Stanley, VA: Nancy Donovan and Donna High. In addition to his parents, Tony is preceded in death by his two brothers: Edward Rotz and Michael Rotz.
Tony was a truck driver all his life. He loved the big rigs – and his motorcycles. He drove trucks for a total of 48 years. He just retired in January 2025 after five years of service from Area Transfer and Storage of Harrisburg.
The family is planning a memorial celebration of Tony’s life on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 11 Speckled Lane, Loysville, PA 17047 beginning at 12 noon.
