Angela Shank, age 50, received her angel’s wings on June 26, 2020. Born on April 3, 1970 to John Hoffman (deceased) and Betty Lou Owings of Shermans Dale, she was a fiery red-headed lady who loved to smile, joke and laugh. She bravely fought a five year battle with cancer.
Angela was loved by her family and friends. She is survived by her son David Shank (and partner Taylor) of Newville. Her best friend Rob said of her, “She was the bravest person I know.” Angela was an artist who loved to paint animals. Her favorite animals were Muncy, her feline companion, big horses, and roosters. Her favorite activities included riding motorcycles, watching televisions shows “The Big Bang” and “World’s Funniest Videos”, and partying with friends.
In addition to painting, Angela also worked as a machine operator for Warrel Corporation and Arnold Logistics, both in Camp Hill and Industrial Harness in Shippensburg. She was a social member of the American Legion in Newport.
