William E. Sterner

SHERMANSDALE, PENNSYLVANIA

William E. “Bill” Sterner Jr, age 65 of Shermansdale died at his home in Shermansdale on December 30, 2018

Born June 18,1953 in Duncannon he was the son of the the late William E. and Betty V. May Sterner.

He was a US Veteran serving in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War.

He had attended Susquenita High School.

William had worked at Penske Truck Leasing up to his retirement in 2015.

He is survived by a daughter Christina Lehman of Mechanicsburg and three sons Christopher Jamison (Dianna) of Shermansdale, PA , Bryan Paden ( Ricki) of Millerstown, PA and William "Bill" Sterner of Elliottsburg, PA, seven sisters Jane Whitmyer, Mary Lou Yeager, Nancy Hoffman, Virginia Clark, Patricia Scheidler, Betty Heckert and Debra Foster, eight grand children Caitlin Jamison, Brianna Paden, Drew Paden, Ronald Sterner, Hannah Sterner, William Sterner, Isabella Potter and Ryan Lehman.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Harold Carpenter.

Memorial service will be held  at the Duncannon American Legion Post 340 January 13,2019 from 2PM - 5PM.
