William St. Clair (Bill) Jones

William St. Clair (Bill) Jones, 78, of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, died on, Monday, January 22nd, at his residence.

William was born in Seward, Pennsylvania on March 24, 1939, the son of the late Nellie (Schweitzer) and Thomas H. Jones.

He was the husband of Joan Marie (Fahrney) Jones. On March 17, 1979, they were married at Lurgan, Pennsylvania. United Brethren Church

He attended Five Forks Brethren In Christ Church Five Forks, Pennsylvania 17268.

He earned a Masters Degree in Computer Science from George Washington University; his Bachelor of Arts Degree at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

He was a store clerk in CB's a division of the US Navy (Retired). In retirement he worked as Civilian Employee, Sr. Analyst GS 12 and then worked as government contractor in DC area. After retirement from the government he worked in the book warehouse in Blue Ridge Summit until 2005.

He was previously evolved in Boy Scouts as a volunteer.

In addition to his wife Joan, William is survived by a daughter, Melanie Rae Jones, of Waynesboro, PA;
a son, Stephen F. Kirby, husband of Robin Kirby, of South Mountain; six grandsons; Connor Jones of Waynesboro, Trintin Taylor, Andrew Kirby, Ryan Kirby Aaron Kirby and Bentley Kirby all of South Mountain. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

A memorial service will be held later and announced later by the funeral home at the Five Forks Brethren in Christ Church. Interment will be private.
