Wanda Myers

Newport, Pennsylvania

Wanda Myers, age  62, of Newport slipped silently away Thursday evening to be with her Lord, February 14, 2019 at her home.

Born,  January 7, 1957 in Harrisburg she was the daughter of James Leroy and Helen (Kauffman) Campbell.

She graduated from Greenwood High School, Millerstown, PA in 1974

She was a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam Era where she was trained for nursing.

She was the beloved wife of the late Nathan Myers.

She held many jobs , nurses aid, waitress, guard, notary, messenger,  she worked security and payroll for Super Valu Penn LLC until her retirement.

She enjoyed playing the piano and accordion for her church family.

Having her pool ready for summer for her family to enjoy.

Her faith kept her strong.  She was a member of the Ickesburg Church of God in Ickesburg, PA.

In addition to her parents James and Adrianna Campbell of Millerstown; birth mother Helen Brown of Montana; daughter Rebecca Lewis; sisters Jackie Daniels and Allan of Missoula, Montana; Donna Kellough and Charles of Stevensville; Montana; Deb Everly and Funk of McAllisterville, PA and Vickie Brown of McAllisterville, PA; brothers James L. Campbell Jr. and Rosie of New Bloomfield; John Campbell and Verna of Missoula, Montana; Greg Campbell and Robin of Shermans Dale, PA and Gary Brown and Gina of Missoula, Montana; Forrest Campbell and Sandy of Tulsa, OK; Jack Brown, Jr. of Missoula, Montana; granddaughter Sydni Lewis and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by a step-father Jack Brown and two brothers Lester Campbell and Barry Brown.

The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. on  Saturday, February 23 , 2019 in the Ickesburg Church of God, 85 Tuscarora Path, Ickesburg, PA. with a funeral service to follow at  11 A.M. at the church with Rev. Timothy McCauslin officiating.   Interment in Eschol Cemetery, Millerstown, PA. with full Military Honors from the Perry County Honor Guard.
