Verna M. Taylor, age 95 of Loysville was called home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at her home.

Born September 1, 1924 in Newport she was the daughter of the late Walter and Lottie (Dell) Burkepile.

On March 30, 1945 she married her late husband Charles L. Taylor, Jr. who died on August 3, 2019.

She was a member of the Berks County Society of Farm woman where she served as a county officer and member of the Boyertown Friendship Hook and Ladder Auxillary.

She is survived by  four daughters; Connie Tootle of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Bonnie Taylor of Reading, Pennsylvania, Mary Cranford of Newnan, Georgia, and Linda Taylor of East Greenville, Pennsylvania, and one son; Rodney Taylor of Temple, Pennsylvania; 9 grandchildren Marci Schumaker; Stacey Putt; Andrea Moyer; Frank Tootle III; Tina Tootle; Jamie Bechtel; Heather Cranford: Joshua Taylor and Tabitha Taylor, 8 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandsons; two sisters Violet Wileman and Elsie Rothenberger; and a brother Walter Burkapile.  In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by two children Charles L. Taylor III and Virginia Taylor-Sloan; brother John Burkepile and sister Olive Zern.

Family will receive friends from 10am to 11am on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 followed by a funeral service at 11 am held at The Church Of The Living Christ, Loysville, Pennsylvania.  Rev. Doran Wray will be officiating the service. Interment will be in the Eshcol Cemetery, Millerstown, Pennsylvania.
