Roy Eugene Eckenberger

Roy Eugene Eckenberger, age 78 of Landisburg died Thursday May 2, 2019 at UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle.

Born June 20, 1940 to the late Benjamin Anderson Eckenberger and Dorothy Margaret Delancey.

He had worked at Knouse Foods up until retirement.

Roy is survived by  two daughters; Lori Burd and her companion Dave of Honey Grove, PA. Sally Roberts and her Husband Dale of Newport. Five Grandchildren Levan Burd, Charlene Lightner, Christopher Roberts, Cody Roberts, Cassie (Roberts) Turnbaugh and 9 Great grandchildren. Sisters; Nina Tolbert and Edna Shuman. Brother; James Eckenberger.

In addition to his parents Roy is preceded in death by two sister; Joanne Clouser and Naomi Eckenberger and a brother; Marlin Eckenberger.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, May 8, 2019 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Nickel-Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home, Inc. 3626 Sherman’s Valley Road, Loysville, PA.  Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the funeral home at 11 A.M. will the Rev. William Pipp officiating.  Interment in Eschol Cemetery, Millerstown.
