Ronald Urban Moore, Jr. age 59, of Blain was called home on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center, Lebanon, PA.
Born December 26, 1959 in Enola, PA he was the son of Ronald U. Moore Sr. of Allentown and the late Marsha Jean Kautz Fisher.
He was a graduate of East Pennsboro Sr. High School, Enola, PA.
He was a US Veteran serving in the US Army after high school in the early 1980’s.
He was employed as a truck driver for John W. Gleim Jr. Excavating until his retirement in May 2016. Prior to that, he had also worked for Gary Merlino Construction.
He and his beloved wife Lorie Ann Cavanaugh Moore were married on September 12, 2015 at the Blain Picnic grounds.
He was a member of the James G. Zimmerman American Legion Post 340, Duncannon.
In addition to his father and wife he is survived by children Shayla May Campbell, Ryver James Cavanaugh both of Blain; Lisa Laudermilk and Courtney Joy Hiebert both of Washington; grandchildren Jordin Duffy of Texas, Gloria Moore Runkles of Washington; great grandchildren Sloane Moody, Tiber Hierbert , Victoria Runkles and Luella Runkles; brothers and sisters John Paul Fisher of New Cumberland, Kimberly Ann Conway of Weedville, and Susan Marie Wolfe of Marysville. He is preceded in death by his first wife Elsie May Benvenisti Moore, daughter Stacy Ann Barrett and brother David Lee Moore.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. at the Nickel-Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home, Inc., 3626 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville, PA. followed by a funeral service at 10 AM. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full Military Honors at 12:30 P.M..
