LOYSVILLE - Ronald D. Emlet, 86, of Loysville went to be with the Lord on Saturday morning, February 10, 2018, at Chapel Pointe at Carlisle.
Ron was born February 25, 1931 in Loysville to the late Arthur Ray and Emma Louise (Gerlach) Emlet. He was preceded in death by a son, David D. Emlet.
He was retired from Amp, Inc. and was formerly employed in the family business, Emlet Brothers Eggs & Poultry. He was last employed at Natural Lands.
He was a member and former Trustee at the Tressler Memorial Free Lutheran Church, Loysville.
He was a member of the Blain Sportsman's Club; Loysville Sportsman's; Loysville Rod & Gun Club; Loysville Baseball Association and enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.
Surviving are his wife, Florence M. (Milligan) Emlet, four children, Jerry D. Emlet and his wife Marylou of Simsbury, Ct; Marla J. Shull and her husband Lee of Landisburg; Crista L. Lyons and her husband William of Loysville; Lori D. Weaver and her husband David of Landisburg; a brother, Marvin Emlet and his wife Miriam; a sister, Phyllis Milligan and her husband Robert, all of Loysville; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 17, 2018 in the Tressler Memorial Free Lutheran Church, 3581 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville, PA 17047 with Pastor David K. Lusk officiating. The visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday in the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Tressler Memorial Free Lutheran Church, P. O. BOX 904, Loysville, PA. 17047.
