Robert "Bob" A. Karns

Robert “Bob” A. Karns, Sr. age 64 of Carlisle, died on November 21, 2019 at the UPMC Community Hospital, Harrisburg, PA.

Born January 31, 1955 in Mechanicsburg, PA he was the son of the late Paul W. and Goldie Hosler Karns.

A graduate of Cumberland Valley High School and Cumberland-Perry Vo Tech School.

He was lifelong plumber and heating professional.

He loved the cabin, sitting out by the fireside, fishing, late cate, “Sweetie Pie’ and present cats Mitz and Sam.

In addition to her husband she is survived by four children; Mary D. Hayslett and her husband Guy; Robert Karnes, Jr. and wife Missy and Tammy L. Karns; Joseph Karns and his wife Erika;  14 grandchildren; and numerus great grandchildren and great great  grandchildren. And 2 cats Sam and Mitz.  In addition to his wife Betty Karnes who died on April 5, 2019 and his parents he is survived by brothers Ronald Karns and his wife Nancy; sister Jayce Rick and her husband Dek.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 3 PM to 4 PM  at the Nickel-Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home, Inc., 3626 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville, PA 17047 followed by a funeral service at 4 PM.  Interment will be private.
