Robert E. Martin, Sr. age 86, of Elliottsburg died on Friday, December 21, 2018 at the Kinkora Pythian Home, Duncannon, with his family by his side.
Born July 8, 1932 in Baltimore, Maryland he was the son of the late Upton Allen and Run Virginia Tolson Martin.
His first wife Shirley A. Martin who died in 2010.
He serviced in the Maryland Army National Guard.
Robert was a member of the VFW Post 7463, New Bloomfield, American Legion post 177, Newport, Hunters Club and the Ickesburg Ambulance Association.
He had been employed until his retirement at the Carling Brewing Company as a stationary engineer and was a member of the #560 Brewers Union-Plumbers Boiler Maker in Baltimore.
He is survived by his wife Eva Martin of Elliottsburg; son Robert E. Martin, Jr. and daughter Barbara Black of Littlestown, daughter Kathy Bixler of Gettysburg, PA; step children Brenda Merlin of Liverpool, Debra Raush of Gardeners; Wanda Caldwell of Florida; James Stoak of Duncannon and Richard Stoak of Carlisle and many grandchildren.
Graveside services will held on Thursday at 11 A.M in Eshcol Cemetery. Rev. William Pipp officiating.
