Marian Alice Evans, 79, of Chmbersburg and formerly of Greencastle, Waynesboro, Pennsylvania and New York City was called home at 10.10 PM, Monday, October 16th, peacefully, at Manor Care Nursing Home, Chambersburg, Franklin County, PA.

Marian was born in , on June 4, 1938, a daughter of the late M. Ora (Lantz) and Lewis Evans.

She attended and graduated from Portege Area Sr. High School, Portege, PA and Indiana University of Pennsylvania

She was employed as an Secretary at Various New York City Offices

Marian is also survived by niece Adrian DeVore. She is precedded in death in addition to her parents by a sister Lousie DeVore

Graveside Servcies will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 1 P.M. at the Lloyds Cemetery, Edensburg, Pennsylvania.  Rev. William Pipp, of Snyders United Methodist Church, Duncann will officiate.
