Joseph "Joe" James Donato

Joseph "Joe" James Donato, of Waynesboro, PA., was called home, 85, died at the at Quincy Village and Nursing Home.

Joseph was born in Dunmore, Pennsylvania on March 3, 1932, a son of the late Thomas Donato.

He was the widower of Rena Joanne (Delpiano) Donato who died on October 31, 1994.

He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Sgt during the Korean War.

He worked as a Chief Building Maintenance Engineer in Bethesda Maryland, for The Mensch Corp; retired.

He was a Catholic.

Joseph is survived by two sons, Anthony J. Donato and his wife Mary Colette (Wishneski) Donato and John Donato both of Waynesboro, two granddaughters Danielle and Kristina Donato. In addition to his wife he is preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 10:30 AM in the Gate of Heavens Cemetery, Silver Springs Maryland. Rev. William Pipp officiating. Visitation will be private.
